1. Age Restriction
MeetCounts is strictly for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process information from individuals under 16 years of age.
2. Zero Tolerance Policy
MeetCounts has a zero-tolerance policy regarding child exploitation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any form of harm to minors. We are committed to:
- Preventing the use of our platform for any illegal activity involving minors
- Immediately removing any content that exploits or endangers children
- Permanently banning users who violate these policies
- Cooperating fully with law enforcement authorities
3. Age Verification
Users must confirm they are 16 years or older during registration. We employ the following measures:
- Date of birth collection during account creation
- Automated rejection of accounts with birth dates indicating age under 16
- Right to request additional age verification if suspicious activity is detected
4. Content Moderation
We actively monitor and moderate content to ensure child safety:
- User-generated content is subject to review
- Automated systems flag potentially harmful content
- Users can report inappropriate content or behavior
- Suspected illegal activity is reported to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) and relevant authorities
5. Prohibited Content & Behavior
The following are strictly prohibited on MeetCounts:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
- Grooming or attempting to contact minors
- Sexualization of minors
- Sharing content that endangers children
- Using the platform to arrange meetings with minors
6. Reporting Mechanism
Users can report violations through:
- In-app reporting: Report button on profiles and content
- Email: meetcounts+safety@gmail.com
- Emergency situations: Contact local law enforcement immediately
All reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Reports involving child safety are prioritized and escalated immediately.
7. Cooperation with Authorities
MeetCounts cooperates fully with:
- NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children)
- Law enforcement agencies worldwide
- Child protection organizations
We preserve evidence and provide information to authorities as required by law.
8. Account Removal
Accounts found to violate child safety policies will be:
- Immediately suspended upon detection
- Permanently banned after investigation confirms violation
- Reported to authorities for criminal activity
- Device and IP banned to prevent repeat offenses
9. Privacy Protection for Minors
Although our service is for 16+, if we discover a user under 16:
- The account is immediately deleted
- All associated data is permanently removed
- Parents/guardians are notified if contact information is available
10. Continuous Improvement
We regularly review and update our child safety measures, including:
- Staff training on child protection
- Technology updates for detection and prevention
- Partnerships with child safety organizations
- Community education on safe platform use
